Fasting is the deliberate abstinence of a person who is able from morning until sunset, from eating and drinking and from sexual intercourse, intentionally or by mistake.
The reason why Ramadan fasting is obligatory
The reason why fasting is obligatory is to be present during the fasting month or a part of it. This is the reason why it is obligatory to fast every day of Ramadan.
Ruling and conditions of imposition
It is fard for a person who meets the following three conditions to observe the fast of Ramadan on time, and if he does not observe it, then he will be punished for it:
1. Muslim,
2. Intelligent,
3. Adult . to have reached
Conditions for fasting
1. Not being sick enough to prevent fasting.
2. To be free from menstruation.
3. To be clean from Nifos.
4. To settle down.
There are three conditions for fasting to be correct
: 1. Intention to fast.
2. Not doing sprays that break the fast.
3. Not having menstruation.
Rukni
The rukni of fasting is refraining from doing or fulfilling the desires of the abdomen and genitals or actions that are under the judgment of these desires.
The result of fasting is
to get rid of the obligation and get a reward in the Hereafter.
